Children's Liturgy and Masses

At Children’s Liturgy, children leave Mass after the welcome to listen to the readings and have them explained at a level they can understand, before returning at the Procession of Gifts.

St John Vianney’s

A team of six catechists prepare and lead the Liturgy of the Word for children every Sunday during school term time, except when there is a Children’s Mass for all the children. The contact is:

 

St Gregory’s

There is often a Children’s Mass on the second Saturday of the month. On the other Saturdays (except during school holidays) three teams of helpers prepare and conduct the Liturgy of the Word for the children. The contacts are:

 

St Catherine’s

We have a Children's Liturgy each week in our parish, during school term time. There are ten ladies who prepare and organise the Liturgy and there are two groups for the children – one for older children and one for the younger ones. During the five weeks leading up to Christmas we prepare and rehearse for a play to be shown at Midnight Mass. The contact is:
